I ended up getting an SS but it was parted out. I got basically a rolling chassis which is cool cause then I can build it the way I want to.

This kit has been released. Yes it is a kit. You get to put it together. It has a few upgrades over the RTR such as different shocks, a 26cc engine, A different rear shock brace, and an aluminum HPI tuned pipe. If you need one,m go get it here.

I know you guys know about this outfit but I thought I would give a shout out to Dave at Turtle Racing Products. He has quite a few products for the Baja and all are the very best quality you can imagine. I currently have Dave’s diff savers, shock brace, and aluminum clutch bell on my Baja and I just can’t say enough about them. The machining is first rate and quality is the best. If you need High Performance hop ups for your HPI Baja 5B then all you need to know is Turtle Racing.

I have decided to venture into the aftermarket industry of RC. I will be making a few parts for the Baja 5B by HPI. I will keep this updated as parts are finalized. Wish me luck in this new endeavor.
