    I’m shocked that rc companies haven’t tried this before, using that shape battery. Lots of power, and some are lithium polymer ( lipo) just like rc’s heck I know guys that use drill motors in their monster trucks!!

    Man the C3 tool line is awesome they even have rc trucks that run off those batteries. Try a lithium ion battery the thing will prob last all day. Cant wait to get my set!

    A .21 in a Huge savage would hit 50 tops very hard tho my hyper 8 with o.s .28 would go about 80 or my Mamba pede race got clocked at 72 on 2 cell lipo

    Yes a vxl rusty with 3 cell lipo is faster BL and Lipo are getting faster than nitros and much faster than small blocks but a little to go before it beats big blocks

    I have couple of these. One is new in original package. The other is used but as new also in original package. Make me an offer. Last i checked they were going for $75 new and $45-50 used om ebay. i will list them there is that is more comfortable for you. let me know.

    Does anyone know where to get these now ? My husband’s broke (drove through a puddle) and he can’t find the problem. Sears said they’d have them again this October but so far nothing……:-(

    theyre not bad for the money i had one but returned it and got a mgt 8.0. by the way the craftsman truck has twin motors and says it goes 18 mph. i know cause i work at sears in hawaii.

    Try the car with the new battery. The lithium ion battery, its same power but about half the weight.
