i also drift 1/8 scale monster tuucks in oz and use rubber and sil strap off fridge vans drifts sick just hold it flat all the control you want in and out of a slide
i drift 1/8 monster trucks in australia and use a silicon and rubber mix of strapping which puts load on the engine it drifts great and run hard so have put 12 liters of 16
% fuel through it i can and do hold it flat most of the time. i run a .28 force engine i found they can take a flogging useing pvc pipe it may drift good the engine wont last, try the strapping you will be impressed……NEO !
