Why not put a wheelie bar? It protects your body, motor mount, and motor? How is something protecting the rear of your truck gay?

  3. Grant Barnett says:

@bigslug333 Then why are they the most popular?

  4. Grant Barnett says:

Put something heavy in the front and it won’t pop any wheelies.

I have the Stampede for 3 months now, and it is really a great truck!
Fun tot drive everywhere, and really it’s killing every Rustler in sand, grass, off-road.
Easy to drive too, perfect combo with a 2cell LiPo 5000mah!!!
The stability at braking and immediate acceleration on the road are quite bad, so this is really not the car to win from the Rustler when it comes on-road…
Oh, and the 2cell lipos are definitely faster than the standard 7-cell NiMh!

It is possible to marry an rc truck??

@mlbbeast15 what you SHOULD have done is open up the motor and take the rotor out and then clean it with motor spray. You motor is running slow beacuse you sprayed unwanted things into the motor causing it to slow down.

What’s with the gay wheelie bars?

  15. rcguy8038 says:

    Maybe it’s an xl-5,lol

  16. schultzee101 says:

these are “Brushless” motors, these motors dont have brushes to clean. so if you sprayed some kind of cleaner in there its probably going to screw the motor up,

but if the motor isn’t ruined you can drop the gearing in your pede to an 18 pinion or even drop your gearing on the spur gear as well,

and it helps if your running a lipo, and since this is a video traxxas made these trucks are probably running some kind of 3cell lipo

Great video clip, well done. Just getting back into rc now( mostly for my 5 year old.) We used to buy matched packs. This means every cell in the stick is EXACTLY the same. The machine spits them out into different batch bins.So if you pick 6 cells from one batch, preferably the ones with longest run time etc written on the cell label you will find the battery performs much much better in every way. Ask for a matched pack or a bag of matched cells, go home and solder. Done.Happiness

I just bought one of these the other day. I thought my old Nikko buggy was a blast until now. Venom 5000 battery packs really got my Stampede moveing! Great job Traxxas!

  21. spidertrak says:

I just became a proud owner of one of these. My old Nikko buggy was alot of fun until now. The Venom 5000 battery pack gets my Stampede going at very hi speed. Great job Traxxas.

  22. Tom Bell says:

    They are only 10C.

  23. 6650roger says:

very true 5000mah 7.4v lipo works just fine for track and practical driving.

  24. jomarrrr says:

maxamps dotcom has 12,000 mah lipo’s
last for 4 hours of runtime
    upwards of $200+ though
